First Aid Training for Year 6 – 20th June 2017

Debbie from Albany Training came into school today to teach Year 6 some of the basics of First Aid.

They learned how to bandage, to put people in the recovery position and how to administer CPR.

Debbie said in an email, ‘I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you, the teacher and all the children in Year 6 for the excellent first aid course that we ran this morning.  I was very impressed by the way all of the class listened, answered questions and then took part in all of the practical activities when they were asked to.  All the children were very polite at all times and helpful with carrying equipment (especially in this hot weather).’
